Celebrating Years of Commitment to
Our Industry.
As the founder of the Welsh Aesthetics Symposium, Claire Amos is a highly experienced Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber. Her extensive background in intensive care, district, and palliative care nursing underpins a fifteen-year career in aesthetics, where she has built a thriving clinic and become a recognised leader in promoting industry safety.
Claire's dedication to excellence is reflected in her numerous accolades, including being a finalist in the Safety in Beauty Awards 2024 and a nominee for 2025. Her advanced qualifications, which include a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Aesthetics, have positioned her as a respected educator. As the Director of the Safer Aesthetics Training Academy, a VTCT-regulated centre, she has personally guided over 300 students, delivering the Diploma in Clinical Aesthetics and a range of CPD-accredited courses.
Driven by a passion for advancing industry standards, Claire recognised the need for high-quality educational events closer to home. This inspired her to launch an aesthetics conference in Wales. The inaugural event was a tremendous success, featuring prestigious speakers, an exhibition hall with leading suppliers from across the industry, and a welcoming atmosphere that fostered valuable professional connections.
Claire is convinced that such gatherings are vital for professional growth. “Conferences build your confidence as an aesthetics practitioner,” she explains. “They allow you to hear from experienced speakers, engage in discussions, and create long-lasting professional relationships.”
Through her unwavering dedication to patient safety and practitioner development, Claire is truly shaping the future of aesthetics in Wales and beyond.
