Skcin Charity

Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection Training for Medical & Healthcare Practitioners

The MASCED Pro accreditation programme, developed by national skin cancer charity Skcin, aims to educate healthcare professionals on detecting suspicious skin lesions. Healthcare professionals play a key role in supporting health promotion and are often in a prime position to observe areas of a patient's skin that they cannot see themselves.

By conducting skin surveillance and signposting patients accordingly, healthcare practitioners can help detect skin cancer earlier, and as early detection is critical for positive outcomes, their role is invaluable.

This session, delivered by Marie Tudor, CEO of Skcin, will introduce the charity's mission and the MASCED Pro programme. Marie will explain how healthcare professionals can get involved in the training, empowering them with the knowledge to identify skin cancer signs and contribute to better patient outcomes.

This session is essential for those aiming to improve early detection practices within their healthcare settings.
